As you come into St. Patrick’s, you may notice a collection of original works in the Fellowship Hall, the Chorus Room, the Narthex, and the hallway to the classrooms. These works are a part of the revolving collection of original paintings by Nancy Dusenberry, Anita Beaty, Elisha Bailez, Minna Hong, and class participants of the adult formation class.
Having original work on display allows viewers to create their own connection to God using the work as a catalyst. The viewer’s reaction is an integral part of the artistic experience and can be separate from the artist’s intention. Each part is equally valuable.
